Nevin and his family have been growing their own organic fruit and vegetables and living more sustainably on their 600m2 block in the suburb of St Clair for the past 35 years. These methods have been aided by Nevin’s completion of a Farm Technology Certificate at TAFE, Permaculture Design Course and Masters in OHS and environmental management. Their website “under the choko tree”, http://www.underthechokotree.com/ documents their permaculture life. They open for Sustainable House day (formerly Solar House Day) and International Permaculture Day.
