14 May 2019: Pruning & Tool Maintenance

With the approach of winter, now is this time for some garden maintenance.  Our next workshop,  “Pruning and Tool Maintenance”  will provide you with an overview of “what to do and when” in your garden.

Different plants require different approaches.  When do you cut back natives and by how much?  Do ornamentals and fruiting plants require a different approach?  What is the difference between first and second year growth for different fruiting trees and where do you make the cut?  When do you cut back your passion fruit vine and by how much?

All these questions and more, plus any others you may have, will be answered by Ray.  He will also give you some handy tips on how to look after your tools and how to sharpen them.
