The Wonderful World of Weeds: history, ecology and recipes
Weeds are everywhere, unavoidably. Weeds are our co-evolutionary species, many of them following human’s footsteps as we expanded from North East Africa and roamed the world. These plants are our botanical closest relatives. Some are the ancestors of nowadays domesticated food sources, others have always been harvested from the wild, used for food, remedies & craft uses in folklore from all over the globe.
Let’s meet the weeds, our bane and medicine. Let’s recognise the value of some of this species by revisiting stories, recipes your very own backyard. Bring along any weeds you would like identified or would like information about.
