14 August 2018: The Joys and Benefits of Gardening are Unlimited – Let’s Explore
14 August 2018 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 pm

“It is notoriously difficult to create something out of nothing. It’s always easier to turn something into something else. We all have powers of transformation which we underestimate. We’re not as creative as we could be. Yet, when we mix a little imagination with inspiration, we can be resourceful” quote by Bill Mollison
In this Workshop Yvonne Penn will continue with her previous themes of maximising use of what we produce, minimising waste and recycling, using our imagination and latent creative abilities, as advocated by Bill Mollison.
Topics covered:
- Using everything we produce to its optimum level.
- Taping into one’s artistic talent by creating table centre pieces using succulents
- Redecorating, recycling and re-purposing polystyrene boxes which housed broccoli, sprouts etc. from the fruit shop as, colourful decorative planter boxes.
- DIY: Newspaper pots for seed starting that can be planted straight into the ground without disturbing the delicate roots.
