Bokashi is a quick and alternative way of composting food waste thru an ‘anaerobic fermentation’ process which introduces microorganisms to organic matter and ferments it. On Tuesday evening Stacey English will take us through the process of setting up your own Bokashi composting system.
This closed system is a perfect composting solution for those with limited space in the garden; allows you to include a wider variety of food waste and adds additional beneficial microorganisms into your soil.
This workshop will introduce you to the benefits and uses of Bokashi composting; take you thru the steps of composting in this way, and show you how you can make your own Bokashi bin.
